Catch the Vision!

Mr Slabbert Pretorius M.D.

We are working to establish SCEE as a one stop educational movement based on a Reaching, Redeeming, Restoring and Reforming ministry. Evangelism and discipleship through education and encouragement will be at the forefront of all our activities. We want to support every church and educational institution that is a part of this movement to be as effective as they can be.

My Journey to University

Lucy Brearley A.C.E. Graduate

I decided to not take the SAT test or any other form of tertiary entrance test as I wanted to prove that it could be done. My justification was that I had worked just as hard as anyone at school. I had stressed just as much as anyone studying at school, and therefore my form of education should count just as much as anyone studying at school.

Message from the Managing Director of SCEE: Trevor Taylor is with The Lord.

Trevor Taylor Southern Cross Educational EnterprisesIt is with great sadness that we inform the A.C.E. Community in Australia, Indonesia and the South Pacific that the Chairman of our Board, Mr. Trevor Taylor, passed away on Saturday 12 October. Late last year, Trevor was diagnosed with non-Hogkins lymphoma and has undergone several treatment regimes including chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

We had fervently prayed for Trevor and hoped that The Lord would see fit to heal him, however last Saturday Morning at 12:25am, The Lord chose to call him home.

Whilst we do not mourn like the rest of men who have no hope, we will sadly miss Trevor’s Godly approach to leadership of the Board, his fervency for the work and his quiet encouragement and determination.

We also empathize with his wife, Sandra and their family. Trevor’s companionship and leadership will be sorely missed by them and also by us. We know that Trevor is now inheriting the joy of his reward and we rejoice with him in that.

Mr. Bob Gregory, our Managing Director and Mr. Brian Evison, our Board Vice Chairman, along with Mr. Robert Steedman, our New Zealand Representative, attended the Funeral Service, held in Westport, New Zealand, where Trevor and Sandra had been called by The Lord to pastor a local Church.

We loved Trevor dearly and he will be greatly missed at the helm of this ministry but we will continue to serve The Lord with renewed fervor to continue the legacy he has left behind.

The Lord gives and The Lord has taken away. Blessed be the Name of The Lord.
