SCEE Educational Services Department
The Educational Services Department (ESD) was established by Southern Cross Educational Enterprises in 2006 to assist and represent the interests of schools using the ACE curriculum materials.

The department is managed from an office within SCEE’s service centre in Narangba, Queensland, and where-ever staff members happen to be.

Tasks are prioritised according to advised school registration schedules and needs; being available to schools remains paramount to the service.

ESD Support Services include:
  • Assisting document preparation prior to a school’s registration review
  • Advising how to use and ‘take ownership’ of the Audit of the ACE curriculum materials, providing appropriate support to schools
  • Attending registration reviews: providing professional support to ACE curriculum users.
  • Networking with registration personnel and educational service providers in the wider education community.
  • Continuing and maintaining the currency of the Audit of the ACE Curriculum materials
  • Consulting with respect to ACE Year 12 Certificate course recognition and accreditation as Senior Secondary qualifications in each state
  • Fostering networks of association amongst the schools and like-minded service providers, to share information, resources and expertise for our mutual benefit
  • Lobbying to maintain the place of the ACE curriculum materials as legitimate, contemporary educational practice
  • Facilitating public record of good practice, for example, the achievements of our students and graduates
  • Upholding an honourable Christian witness in all our endeavours

Support is particularly relevant when schools are preparing for registration reviews. The Audit of the ACE Curriculum materials was undertaken to establish whether the materials could make contribution to the satisfaction of state syllabus requirements. The required research has demonstrated that the ACE program, from its infancy, has satisfied contemporary educational criteria in many ways:

  • In the scope and sequence of the curriculum
  • In the procedures required for the effective conduct of individualized/personalized learning methodology
  • In the preparation that is integral to Convention participation by students.
